Paskibra (Flag Hoisting Troop)
Paskibra is a group or team responsible for hoisting and lowering the national flag of Indonesia, Sang Merah Putih, in various ceremonies and official events.
History of Paskibra
Paskibra was first formed in 1946, when Indonesia was still fighting to maintain its independence. Initially, Paskibra consisted of young people who were enthusiastic about defending Indonesia's independence.
Tasks and Functions of Paskibra
The main task of Paskibra is to hoist and
lower the national flag of Indonesia in various ceremonies and official events, such as:
1. Commemoration of Indonesian Independence Day
2. Commemoration of National Heroes' Day
3. Commemoration of Flag Day
4. Other official state events
In addition, Paskibra is also responsible for maintaining and caring for the national flag of Indonesia, as well as ensuring that the flag is hoisted and lowered in a proper and respectful manner.
Requirements to Become a Paskibra Member
To become a Paskibra member, one must meet several requirements, such as:
1. Age between 15-25
years
2. Minimum height of 155 cm
3. Good physical posture
4. Good physical ability
5. High enthusiasm and dedication to carry out tasks as a Paskibra member
Training and Development of Paskibra
Paskibra members must undergo intensive training and development to prepare themselves for their tasks. The training and development include:
1. Physical and mental training
2. Character and discipline development
3. Training on flag hoisting and lowering techniques
4. Development of knowledge about the history and meaning of the national flag of Indonesia
By doing so, Paskibra members can carry out their tasks well and respectfully, and become role models for the community in maintaining and caring for the national flag of Indonesia.
